New Camera

Finally, decided to get a new digital camera after our third ones failed on us. Always have to removed the battery from the camera to prevent its leaking.....

Grandpa and Grandma off to Hongkong 5D4N

Finally after a long wait, Grandpa and Grandma are ready to go for their holiday trip to Hongkong. Well, last year both of them should be having their trip to Australia. But Grandpa suddenly come down with irregular heart beat.

Anyway, was glad both are well and hope they will enjoy their trip.

Renovation Progress

Meet up with the INTERIOR designer last Saturday to discuss on the carpentry, cornice and etc.
Although, all wall and floor tiles are done but find there are still tonnes of things to be done before completion. to meet the deadline 11.11.2008.

* Installation Kitchen appliances likes hob, hood and etc
* installation of Windows & Grills and doors
* Electrical & installation of lighthing and fans
* Change of lock
* Painting
* Cleaning up
* Moving, unpacking and packing and etc.

Unhappy with AIRCON piping layout :
As it have make the ceiling between the bedroom very very LOW.
Question => Why can't these AIRCON manufacturer or contractor think of a better ways to hide those UGLY piping. Don't tell me because HDB flat are like that.

Ian's toe nail going to drop off

On sunday evening, Daddy and I just notice that Ian's left thumb toe nail going to drop off soon. Hence bought Ian to Mt Alvernia to have the doctor to pull in out. But can't so doctor find the nail is not as loose as we thought and futhermore ian's toe infection is getting worst.

So doctor decided to apply medication and bandage the toe first. Then return on Tuesday morning to remove the toe nail.

Disappointment

Tot of bringing Ian to the PasaMalan after dinner but will we going to leave the house.
Grandpa Chan told us that it had ended yesterday. Then my poor little boy started to breakdown and cried. Heartache to see him so disappointment and sad. Hence decided to cheer him up with a new BEN 10 toy that i have bought weeks ago.

Within a minute, he can see the grow in his eyes and start to smile again. : )

校车乌龙记

On 14th Oct (Tuesday) went to fetch Ian from his school around 6.30pm After waited for 5mins, one of the teacher was SHOCKED to see us there and informed us that IAN have took the school bus home. Then we quickly activiated grandpa Chan to go downstair to wait for Ian as afraid we will missed him. Because the school bus will normally arrive home ard 6.30pm to 6.45pm.

Luckily, we managed to catch up with him at 6.45pm then head to his evening music class at Thomson Plaza.

Then on 15th October, we informed the teacher on yesterday adventure and REMINDED both teacher and our little boy that Ian will need to take the school bus home today. When we are about to head for dinner before meeting our Interior designer. We received call from Grandpa Chan around 7pm that Ian did not followed the school bus home. Hence, quickly contact the school to find out where is Ian. Then we realised that Ian is still in school waiting for us to fetch him. Sigh *FAINT*

Instead having us to rush down to fetch Ian from school. Teacher Eileen suggested that she will take care of Ian's dinner and send him home later.

Finally my precious boy reached home at 8pm to have his dinner again and bathe before settle down infront of the television with Grandma Chan to watch his favourite cartoon programme.

动土 and Renovation's week

After the "Dong tu yi shi" on 2nd October, the renovation works start the following day. Pop over on 2nd day of hacking, found all flooring are hacked except the 3 bedrooms. Work job pretty quickly on hacking. But the wall leading from master bedroom to next room can't be hacked now due to permit have yet approve.

7th October went down to house to discussion the layout for lighting and aircon with ID - DEREK and electrician/aircon man. Requested to have most of the powerpoint or trucking to be hidden but failed due to various reasons like lower the ceil or water can't flow and blah blah... : {

Then bought ian to the site over the weekend, toliet wall tiles are up and Ian happily playing at the sandpit as well as get his hand dirty with the cement. * Faint*

Just received update from ID that " bedroom's wall hacked this afternoon" and asked me whether want to fixed window on the service balcony? Answer him that if free ones then i will take it. Upon checking with hubby, he told me that shouldn't that already include in the quotation? Told him i don't know better check with DEREK lor. Then also received he sms read "This sat u'r mine haha! 2pm @ your place to measure capentary." Luckily, hubby also forward the same message to me too.....

Progress of the renovation :
- Tiling works should finsih by this fri
- Thur AM arrange window measurements
- Next week start install toilet fixtures except shower screen + wash basin (cos must wait for carpentary)
- Next week Electrical, cornice works after finsh will paint.

Point to remind derek ==> PLEASE REMEMBER TO PAINT THOSE WATER PIPES BEFORE ALL CARPENTARY WORKS. ( HOPE HE IS READING THIS)

1st October - Children's Day and China National Day

** My elder brother 40th birthday but this poor guy still need to work and travel during his

** Singapore public holiday to celebrate Hari Raya Puasa. Besides, Ian went over to his cousin's
place to stay over. So yippee offical off day for both myself and daddy.
