Have finally decided to move house or upgraded after 10years of stay at the current place.
However, the next move will still be in the same estate - Toa Payoh.
Yes, alot of people felt that we should have wait abit longer for the market to cool down. Infact this is what we think so when we start house hunting since last december. However, realised it is not really easy for both to like the same house.
Once we set our eye on this house, we just decided to go with it.
Now we have a bigger problem...moving out from the current by Early June but only get to move into new house after August. But can't move in immediately as need to do some renov on the kitchen and toliets. Hopefully can move in by Early Oct.

Birthday party for Qingyi's son
Attended my ex-classmate's son birthday held at AMK ave 10 Macdonald with my little boy. Again my dear son have enjoyed himself alot not only with the food / cake but also the present lor...he won himself a softtoy "Polar bear with cub".
Besides, met one of my Uni classmate too( one of my ex-classmate's hubby)....what a small world?

BBQ at ex-boss's place
On 21st March, there a gathering at my ex-boss's place with the CR Team. We have really enjoyed the food and the chats. Must thank you - Ruth, Huiling, Iris, Laykwan and others for helping out in organsing the events as well as the food preparation.

UNPLEASANT MRT ride.....
Who said only Singaporean behave badly in other country?
I think this applys to those foreigner travel into Singapore as they have adopted the skills very well.
As hubby coming back on 20th March night, have decided to take a MRT ride with Ian from TP to Changi Airport around 8pm plus. From Toa Payoh to City hall, the ride are okay not so much of crowd. But the minute, we step into City Hall....we missed the train heading to Changi airport due to overcrowd besides alot of people can't get on it. So have to wait for the next ones for another 7mins. When train docked in the station, local and foreigners just rush into it without looking at me WHO IS CARRYING MY SON lor or elderly. Once managed to get inside the cabin and managed to stand near the seat with the sign "PLEASE GIVE THIS SEAT TO THOSE NEED IT" there this commuters just pretend to falls asleep or just look at you blankly. Since these people just ignored me who is still carrying my son. IN fact i'm very worry that ian will goes out of oxygen as the Train is very smelly and packed with people. Even Ian's cry or make noises those people sitted just continues to ignore you.
Not only this, there this foreign couple where the girl treated me like a pillar. Can u imagine NO ONE give up a seat for you and SOME one just treated you like a support pillar to make themselves comfortable? Really #@#!!%^&*.
When approaching to Eunos, this foreigner couple saw a seat behind them they just quickly sitted down and the lady just sit on the man's lap then start kissing away. Oh my god....what had happen to these people? Don't them feel shameful on themselves for helping themselves with the seat and kissing in the public?
Of course once at Tanah Merah the ride is okay again. But question is what have SMRT done to improve the crowded train rides at these areas? Should they have more train frequency during morning, evening as well as on pre/public holiday? Since more and more people are switching to train ride to avoid the ERP and be more social responsible to reduce pollution as well as increase SMRT's profit?

Watch Horton with ian and hubby. Ian have enjoyed it alot...funny and cute show.
Which part of the movie ian remember the most "Monkey pushing the elephant into the cage"
Went to watch this with Ian alone, Ian really get scared and even have a nightmare due to the GOOD sound effects. Especially the bombing scenes when Ian actually felt very sad for the "Creature". Again which portion of the movie he remember the most was the boy riding on the waterhorse and dive in the lake as well as the boy imagined himself drown.
Hmm...maybe bring ian to watch "SPIDERWICK" this or next week...when i'm have more times..

Hubby busy with biz trip again
Upon return from the trip, hubby started his biz trip on 10th~12th March then 17th~20th March. Really pity my poor hubby for flying here and there all the times.

Trip to A'famosa - 07the Mar
Went to A'Famosa with our dear friends and kids on 07th March. Was expecting to jam in the second link due to tight security. However to our suprise we zipped pass the both custom without any jam or quene (approx. 15mins). So we quickly to hit the road and it takes us 1hr plus to reach rest area. An to our horror...an aircon foodcourt are invaded by HOUSEFLIES. Think these houseflies want to escape the HOT weather outside and toilet are ways too clean for them hence decided to move indoor. Imagine you have to wave your hand in the air while eating (to fans the flies away from your food)...quite an experience. Well i must said that they have tried to improve the area but they have to find ways to get rid of those HOUSEFLIES causes putting more insecticides and lizards (too many flies via lizards) does not helps. Anyway having alot of lizards in the area are equally bad....errr. Spend another couple of hours on the road and we finally arrived at A'Famosa ard 5pm. Wow...the condo (3 bedrooms, living, kitchen, and balcony)are pretty nice for 3 family. Just too bad that we can't cook. After settle down, we head down to COW BOY TOWN where there's live COWBOY's dance performance by the local. Not too bad...just some of them looks very tired lor. Besides, it takes almost 30mins for us to get the tickets as the staff DON'T know how to operate a credit card machine...sigh!!! Once inside, we started to look for food we went to this CHINESE restaurant whom does not served meat but then hor they have breakfast with EGGS, sausages, and chicken?????
So we hopped to next door for Western food, the group have almost occupied the whole restaurant. We have ordered steak - medium rare but it turns out to well done. My friend then tell the waitress to change and when she informed the kitchen staff. The staff just can't understand what is medium rare lor...very funny lor... Anyway don't expect any good nice food, it is just enough to fill the stomach.. : (.
After the dinner, head down to the carnival areas when we take picture with real tiger (of course it is chained down to the bench). I must said that carnival was the BEST out of the whole trip. It started with RED INDIAN shown where they have fire display, then they have similiar to CHINGGAY with alot of animals like pigeons flying out from the warehouse, cowboy on the horses, water bufflos with carts, dogs running ard, camel walking the parade, monkey riding tricycle, but the most funny ones are having CHICKEN running to the race ends. It is very entertaining especially for the kids. Then come the part when adults (males only lor) where there alot of girls in sexy costume or clowns with SUPER big boots and buttock. Almost come to the end there are this FIREWORK display that lasts for at least more than 5mins. It is so good that we went back the following day to see the display from OUTSIDE....hee zero costs..
On the day 2, we went to the water world and to my horror the water is very musky and smelly. Think it have not be cleaned for long times. However, to avoid disappointment all of us just proceed to the pools. Most of the rides are not properly maintained hence when we have tried out almost 4 to 5 rides we have decided to stop. So we tried out the lazy pools and it is really not very lazy enough for us as we have to paddle abit to move forward. Hence we just go and tried out the wave pool again not very wavery. What worst had happened on me...was that i have developed skin allergy or rashes by insect bites over my leg and arm. Then Ian started to have them on the day 3 when we heading home. It takes us almost two weeks to remove fully lor.
Overall, we have enjoyed the trip because we have our dear friends' accompany..
