Have engaged service from Shalom to move our stuff to warehouse for storage till the new house is available in September. Was pretty upset with Shalom adminstration as they send us a so called storage contract which only in favour for their. What choice do i left with given last minutes notice? Sigh...can only pray very hard things go smooth lor.
So come 24th May, we have spent the whole day busy shifting the house. Hee..hee actually our eyes busy only lor as the movers do most of the jobs on that days. Wow we have pretty much stuffs totally there are 60 cartons and 18 bulk items. On top of these, we have give our queen size mattress/storages bedframe, Ian's wardrode & chest of drawer, dinning table & Chair and a 3ft shoe cabinet that we have moved to our inlaw's. Rather strange feeling, as see another part of my house at my in law's place. Think need some times to adjust to it.
We spent about 4hrs to shift and another 1hr to clean up the house. Then start to shift some of our clothes & Ian's toys to my mum place as we will be staying with my parent for the next 4 to 5 months.
Currently, still staying in block 91 till 15.6.2008...Ian was very shock and curious when he see the house without any furnitures.
Actually, really missed our old house now as we have putted in alot of efforts and times in making out house very comfortable for us to lived in.
This video is before shifting...will post the ones after shifting....the house is pretty empty.

My poor boy : (
Poor Ian..Admitted to Mt.Alvernia for crashed toe nail and cut on his toe.
How does it happened?
Ian dropped his water bottle strap into the drain. To retreive have to lift up the drain cover (metal type). So when Ian have picked up the strap, his classmate thought that he can help Ian to put back the cover. However, the cover landed on Ian's toe as he did not move away fast enough. Who to blame? Sigh... My heart ache will i arrived in the hospital.
So he was admitted into Mt Alvernia (first time) was pretty surprized that the hospital is full and there isn't any bed available at child ward that he have to share with other adult patients. Operation take place at 7.30pm and completed within 30mins. According to the doctor, the nail will grow back but will not in nice as the nail bed was crashed.
Luckily it is on his toes and he is not a girl lor.

Sunday - Mother's Day
How i spend my mother's day?
Went for badminton game with hubby/Ian and Loh/Tan's gang then have lunch at Bedok central and visited the library. Have read couple of story to Ian before splitting up with the gangs for mother's day celebration.
Haha..as usual head home to take a afternoon nap with Ian...(else will have nightmare from him if he did not get his nap) . Leave our car behind and took a MRT to Bishan Junction 8 and have our dinner at Pastamania. Let Ian played at his favourite playground and browse through the toy department at BHG.... Well control no toy purchase as remind Ian he have to save him own money to get them. Then went home via bus where he requested to take a double decker bus and lucky enough a double decker come along and enjoyed the ride home.
What is the present from my son and hubby?
Received a kiss from my prince which is priceless and a COACH handbag from daddy... : )

Happy Saturday
Saturday
All gear up to try out the Henderson Waves @ alexranda but the weather don't permit. So have to plan another day.
Distance: 0.3 km
Walking Time: 5 mins At 36 metres above Henderson Road, Henderson Waves is the highest pedestrian bridge in Singapore. It was built to connect the two hills of Mount Faber and Telok Blangah Hill. The bridge has a unique wave-form made up of seven undulating curved steel “ribs” that alternately rise over and under its deck. The curved “ribs” form alcoves that function as shelters with seats within. Slats of yellow balau wood, an all-weather timber found in South-East Asia, are used in the decking. Look out for carvings on the slats marking the height you are at on various points along the bridge. The wave-forms will be lit with attractive LED light from 7pm to 2am daily, giving the bridge an illuminative glow.
Hence, we went to this nice eating place near portdown road....COL BAR.
They served nice fried rice and western foods too. Yummy....but the price alot exp.

Then we head down to Suntec and have bought ian a SELF MAKE TERRY BEAR ( didn't have the picture on the ones he have made as he is hugging the bear every night and play the song " Birthday bear, happy birthday to you........) The sales girl told me the battery shelf life is ard 1000 press, think Ian have pressed at least 100 times a day so in next 10 days will need to bring the bear to change battery... haha.
If interested goto this website to find out more : http://www.buildabear.com.sg/

IRON MAN
Movie times again....bought Ian to watch him favourite show and we have enjoyed the show very much. As usual Ian is excited and keep pestering me to get him a IRON MAN's costume or toy. Of course the answer is NO No... so we implemented a "SAVING" plan for him. Will give him 50cents daily and he will save up these coins till he can afford a toy or another things that he liked.
Yes, Ian is excited with plan. Have being very helpful in sourcing for a FAVORITE TEDDY BEAR piggy bank... and start slotting coin into it... Hopefully this will teach him how to do some saving to pay himself or other something or for the raining days.

HFMD again
About to send Ian to his child care then find out that he have two little blister on his mouth and thrumb. So brings him to see a doc at Mt Alvernia but the doc can't really confirm it is HFMD due to very little outbreak on his mouth and hand/foot. However to be on the safe side, the doctor still insisted not to bring him to school for the week and observed.
So have to stay home with Ian by myself as hubby is going for a biz trip.

Desaru Trip
All set to go for the short trip @ Desaru Sebana Cove with Chew Family.
Day one
Took a ferry from Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal @ 1150 and arrived at Sebana Cove around 1300. Upon arrival, we clear the custom within Sebana cove marina... what a breeze...no need to quene and save time. Check into our resort which have quite a big room (hee...forget to take a picture of the room) and good view of the swimming pool with yacht behind them. Then we have our lunch ... food are okay but very slow. Probably we are hungry blah.
After the tour, we were recommended by the local to tried the Ostrich meat...taste nice but kind of funny to eat them after seeing the ostrich... : P
According to the tour guide, there are 7 Treasures in an Ostrich.
Ostrich Feathers
Ostrich feathers are great for making dusters. Unlike other feathers, ostrich feathers are anti-static and do not trap dust.
Ostrich Skin
Can be made into many products. Like bags, pouches and many more.
Ostrich Fats
Converted into ointments. Helps to relieve everything from skin diseases to headaches.
Ostrich Meat
Tastes a bit like beef, but more tender and apparently healthier.
Ostrich Bones and Tendons
These are boiled in soups. Help to relieve athritis, bone weakness and etc.
Ostrich Eggs
Each ostrich egg is equivalent to 25 chicken eggs. Besides, can uses the shell as attractive lamp shades.
Ostrich Eye lashes
Uses as eye lashes extension. Lady remember the contribution from the ostrich...
Ostrich Egg
This egg can served upto 25 adults lor...
Day olds ostrich
Wow this ostrich worth RM18K
Wild Ostrich

due to poor vision
Back to resort around 5pm then we head straight for a swim. Kids enjoy the pool play for around 1 hr and then went straight for dinner. Back to same restaurant as not much of choice luckily food are nice BUT slow. Imagine Ian have fallen asleep while waiting. Partly due to he did not take his afternoon nap lor. So we all give firefly tour amiss...
After the dinner, Ian woke up and went back the room to rest. But Ian is very awake and still want to play. Sigh.. So have to let him play for awhile lor. Before bedtime, ian drank around 500ml of milk and about to settle him into bed, this naugthy fellow just jumps around and start playing with curtain, switches and light bulb which he end up kana scolding and beating from his daddy. Of course, Ian vomitted lor not only on himself but also on me and the floor. So we both don't have our pyjamas hence just wear our T-shirt and short .... damn cold lor. Instead of relaxing i'm busy cleaning up the messy...so sian...
Did Damien watch too much of Titanic?
Day Two
Sleep till 8.30am then went for breakfast at the same restaurant. Nothing much...so have plain porridge, eggs and bread. Then we went to FRUIT farm which turned up to be Fruit cum animal farm. See numbers of fruits plantation before we are stop at the fish pond. The kids were very exciting to see so many fish in the pond and wanted to feed them. Think we spent at least 15mins there. Then visit the Mango tree, Durian tree, Bee, Jambu, Coffee plant and the animal farm. Well, the kids simply loves it. From feeding the goats, touching the little animal like chick, and rabbit to owls, snake and many more.
After the tour, we are given a presentation on the bee/honey. Of course, we did purchase a bottle of honey after dear Ian said he like it. Then we went on to enjoy our FRUIT FEAST.
Once back to the resort, we head straight to the room again to wash up and take a nap then go for a dip in the pool later. Some how all of us just give up and sleep abit longer to beats the heat.
Around 3.45pm we check out as we don't have any lunch. Hubby goes and "Tabao" french fries for lunch...and it still takes us 15mins lor. Then take a 4.45pm ferry back to Singapore...

Singapore Flyer

Hee..... another family and friend gathering with the Loh, Tan and Kwok. Total 7 adults 6 kids goes onboard to the Singaore Flyer. Tickets are rather expensive (Adults 29.50 and child 20.65) with promotion. According to advertisement, they will have special lighting display at 8pm hence we arranged to have dinner at Marina Square then take a short walk to the flyer (ard 10mins).
As we have bought the tickets from web so we don't need to quene for the ticketing. It was around 7pm plus when we joined the quene for boarding and guess what.....it takes us total 45mins to board the flyer. Once inside, the kids are so excited walking around to see the view at night. But it is rather a disappointment as unable to make up what we are seeing ... it will be better if they have someone or a video to describe or explain. Besides the lighting display was nothing it will be better to see from the ground.
Overall experience are good as the kids enjoyed it very much...as usual my little prince asked me when can i bring him to take the ride again. Yes yes...my little prince mummy have already bought another ticket from one of my colleague who have 15% on the ticket and it is valid for a year...
So will bring my boy to take the ride during his coming birthday.
