Hong Kong 5D 4N Trips

On 31st August 2008 6.30am, we are all ready to depart from Changi Airport T1 for our Hongkong with The Loh and Tan Families. But it tooks the counter staffs 30mins to sort the documentation and ticketing as the travel agents have tagged little Joel to his sister rather his mummy. Then we are allocated with different seats for my family. Thank you to Loh Family who gave up their seats to us.

Day 1 - Arrive in HK
Arrived in Hongkong at noon then meet our local guide beforing going to our two nights stays at "The Habour City Resort" located at new territories. Although, Hotel is 45mins away(bus) from the city but room are BIG and transport are convenient too.

Once we check into the hotel, we have a quick shower except for Ian who is enjoying his water play in the bathtub for 30mins. Then we took a public bus - 269C from our hotel to KwanTang. Took our dinner at APM shopping centre - food court. Shop around and bought Ian a pair of Puma sneaker at 200 HKG. As usual, the 3 families ends up at the local supermarket to buy food or drink stuffs. Then we went to MongKok to have a quick shopping span before returning to our hotel. We took MTR from Mongkok then change couple of lines before taking the tram to our hotel. It took us around 40mins. Not too bad.

Day 2 - City Tour

Was up very early 6am and leaves at 7am for the morning dim sum session in town. As usual, the tour started from Avenue of star, Wong Tai Sin temple, Sampan Ride, Jewellery shop by some famous actor, Chinese Medical hall then lunch. After lunch goto Repulse bay then The peak, Mdm Tussands and have dinner at one of shop in fishing villages.

Day 2 of the trip, i started falling sick with fever.

Day 3 - Disney Land

Woke up early to have breakfast in the room then pack up to leave for our disney land at 9am.

Arrived in Disney Hollywood Hotel ard 10am and check into our room. Look the room are nice and big too.

Well we spent the whole day in disney busy taking pictures with the characters, catching the shows/plays and playing rides and enjoyed the fireworks display at night.

The disney parade was a disappointment due to rain.

Day 3 of the trip, still down with fever and coughing.

Day 4 - Ocean Park

Again we all have to woke up early for our Ocean Park trip. Was there around 10am and busy taking picture here and there. Visited the Pandas, there are total 4 of them. They are either busy eating or sleeping. Then we moved on to the kids favourite spot - Kids world where they get to take the carousal, merry go round, play ground, and many other games stalls.

Then we took the cable car from the lower land to high land and indeed we have enjoyed this scenic ride. Took the Ocean Park Tower ride and visits Sea Jelly, Atoll Reef and chinese Sturgeon aquarium. Then break for lunch and rest before the 3.30pm Ocean Park show.

After the show, the tan couple go and enjoy their ride with "The dragon", "Crazy Galleon" and "Mine train".

We took the "World" longest escalator to retreat to our hotel as we all are tired.

Went for dinner with the Tan family at the next door cafe then went shopping with the Poh kim and Ray while Papa looks after Ian and Kylie.

Day 4 of the trip, still down with fever and coughing

Day 5 - HSH

Finally, we all don't have to wake up so early. The 3 families all woke up after 8am and each have their own breakfast seperately. 3 of us walk all the ways to Soy street to enjoy our local wanton noodle. Then we leaves our stuffs in the hotel for the tour guide to pick them up later. While we go for shopping at the Citygate. Since we are on the way we also de-tour to take the MTR ride to sunny bay where the kids get to take pictures on the disney train.

At Citygate, only managed to get pair of sandal from timberland for Ian and 6 T-shirts for the 3 of us. At airport, we went to get another birthday toy for Ian - Bubble dispenser and Tan & Loh's family get Ian a walking Pluto. Then the 3 of us went to Ah Yee's restaurant for a quick dinner where Papa ordered a roast Pigeon for himself and Ian. Their soup are really nice....

We return with 3 full luggages. (one bag with our soak clothes, one with our victory stuff, one unused item and clothes) and arrived at home ard 12 midnight.

Still sick upon arrive in Singapore.

Overall, we have enjoyed the trip very much especially travelling with a group of friends.
