Two years ago, we went to Genting with Aunty Peizhen/Janice's Family. This round, we go with the Chew's family. We signed up the package with WTS at their road show at J8. The package was rather expensive due to shoulder peak...sigh.
Day 1, Arrived at Toa Payoh Block 179 for the coach at 6.15am. Was surprized the seating are so spacious and there are total only 3 families with one kids and 2 pair of couples for 18 seaters. Kids are super excited and want to sat together...sigh there goes out peaceful times as the two will make alot of "NOISE" . Passing the custom is a breeze due to early hours and no jams at both Singapore and Malaysia. An hour later, we arrived at "Yong Ping" stop for quick bite before continuing the journey. At noon, arrived at Genting then went for lunch at Hainaness Chicken Restaurant located at First World Hotel indoor theme park. Food are quite okay and inexpenisve. Then we checked into the hotel to have a quick showers after the long journey.
Once ready, we all head to the indoor theme park at First World Hotel. Kids have no hestiation in what to play when they saw the "Ride De Paris ". So we bought ticket for 2 kids and 2 Adults for RM 24 and RM 26 respectively. In total, Ian have played at least 10 times "Ride De Paris", 6 times "Junior Bumper Car", 2 times "Carousel", 1 time for Ferris Wheel, Reindeer Curiser, Venice Gondola, Rio float, and Mini Train. In between, we have dinner at Chinese food court near the Junior bumper car, food there are rather expensive and no standard... and half way through Ian started to fall a sleep so Papa kwok bought Ian back to hotel to have a nap around 6.30pm to 8pm. As for me, i just walk or shop around the place and get myself a pair of jean, couples of blushers, and nail file...hmm nothing interesting there. Thought of returning to the room to rest, but was dragged out the room as my little prince have wake up and wanted to continue to play the rides till 11.30pm. By the times we washed up, i don't have the strength to goto casino to play hence just go to bed and sleep.
Day 2, our friend's son wake up very early and called us up to play. So we all went for breakfast at one of the chinese restaurant for "DIM SUM". Once done, we went to the outdoor theme park and the tickets costs us about RM 250 for all parks for 2 adults/2kids and 2 outdoor for 2 adults. For kids, they enjoyed themselves with Monorail, Double deck carousel, Astro Fighter, Antique car(Need adult to step on the accelerator), Mini train(Super slow), Dinosaurland( boring), Crazy Space Lab(boring), and Children Playpen. For Adults, Went with Damian's mum for the Space Shot (Nice view but exciting) then went with Damian's dad for the Flying Coaster (exciting if the ride is longer). At noon, we went for lunch next door "Penang Food Street" sigh..food are stucked lor. After lunch, Ian went back to the room for his beauty sleep with Papa kwok, hence i went shopping with Damian's mum. Can you believed it, we spent at least RM 380 after discounted at THE BODY SHOP. Then we went to try out the Fish Spa, it is very itchy and quite fun. Hence, bought Ian and Papa to try out too.
For Dinner, we went to this restaurant called "MEIWEI" not bad and price are reasonable. Then Ian repeat the rides again till 11.30pm. Again, both of us did not manage to make it to the casino as too tired.
Day 3, last day at genting wake up around 9am and went for breakfast at the same restaurant. After breakfast, Ian went back to Indoor theme park for his "Junior Bumper Car" and "Ride De Paris" for numerous times as there isn't any crowd. So i went for leg massage after two full days of walking. Then we have lunch at "Causeway" restaurant and food are okay too. At 1.30pm we took our coach with 24 seaters and the tourguide bought us to a local store to get some foodstuffs and reached singapore around 8pm. HOME SWEET HOME. : )
Ian had enjoyed the trip very much.... worth spending the money as he can see the smile from his face....
