So we went ahead with our plan. First, we went to East Coast Park to build sand castle, sand pools and have a dip in the sea before heading to the Bigsplash playground. Rather difficult to find a parking lot due to the weekend Flea market or Car boot sales. Thought of trying out the "white coffee" cafe but the queue was damn long. Instead we went to KFC for our lunch.
Besides, the kids are requesting us to let them to play at "Frisk ‘n’ Romp – Kids’ Playclub " but find it rather expensive (18SGD per session) and the area are much smaller than Explorer Kids hence give it amiss.
After the lunch, we approached our second destination "DHL HOTAIR BALLOON". Kids are extremely excited with the ride which costs 23SGD for adult and 13SGD for kid. So only Grandpa, Second SIL, two nieces, Ian and myself went for the rides. The rest just stay put at the ground. Reason papa kwok is afraid of height lor...brother chan is still hungry so went for another round and baby JiaTing is too young too take the ride.
Honestly, i didn't really have the chance to take a good look up there as i was busy with Ian as he keep wanting me to carry him up to see then busy with picture taking too. ( hee have yet download to my computer so not picture available for viewing). Although we are at the height of 150M from the ground but the wind are really strong and can felt the "basket" moving about.
Too bad, the ride only last for 10mins....hope it to be abit longer so that i can take some more pictures and enjoy the 360 degree view.
Oophs...forget to mentioned the DHL Balloon will be moving out from Bugis to some where else.
Suggest it to be shifted near to marina bay instead woodlands...if move to woodlands see what? Industrial park....na. : P
Our Fourth destination was our favourite hangout place - Singapore Changi Airport. Where we will be having our dinner at Fish & Co located at T2. Have managed to book a room for the group. Kids liked the places as they just to walk around/play within the room. Then we went for a walk at T2 to T3 before heading home to have a good rest.
